Jurassic Bark
Jurassic Bark was designed and painted by professional artist Tim Sutcliffe.
Design summary
About his design inspiration, Tim said, “This idea came from creating something a bit more tactile. The design has various horns, spines and scales applied to it to make it look like a dinosaur and give the sculpture itself lots of different textures for those not able to appreciate it visually.”
Sensory items
We asked our artists to come up with a scent and a touch item that relates to their design to give a multi-sensory perspective to their concept. Some of these items will be incorporated into our sighted guide and sensory tours. Tim's sensory items are:
- Touch item: Rubbery scaly skin.
- Scent item: A swampy jungle smell.
