Three yellow Labrador guide dog puppies sit on a sandy beach, with the sea in the background. Their tongues are out as they smile to camera.

We are excited to be visiting the Shetland Islands this week, 21-26 April 2025, as we look to raise awareness and vital funds for our life-changing cause.

Our team will be meeting locals and sharing how they can support Guide Dogs, particularly through our Sponsor A Puppy campaign where they can follow the journey from puppy to life-changing partnership

Chris Allum, Head of Fundraising Products at Guide Dogs, said: “We are delighted to be visiting the Shetland Islands again, after our last successful trip in 2023.

“Guide Dogs is almost entirely dependent on donations from the public and this support enables us to continue changing lives, helping people with sight loss to live the life they choose.”

Guide Dogs’ paid professional, door-to-door fundraisers will be clearly identifiable by their ID badges and branded clothing.

We look forward to more Shetland locals joining our pack.
