Mik Richardson

We're delighted to have Mik Richardson support our trail and paint a guide dog sculpture.

About Mik

Mik is a Norfolk-based artist who has run his own art business since leaving the RAF in 2006. As well as producing over 400 murals, privately, in the community and in schools, he has also been involved in many public art trails across the country.

To date, Mik has painted 103 Wild in Art sculptures for 51 trails and an additional 29 for other trails. Those that went to auction raised over £450,000 for the charities involved. Mik also works with communities and has helped them produce over 100 smaller sculptures for the trails plus other projects. He also illustrated his first children's storybook based around one of the Wild in Art sculptures that he designed & painted. Mik's favourite specialist piece of art equipment that he likes to use in his designs is the airbrush.
