Volunteering events
At Guide Dogs we host a range of volunteering events across the UK throughout the year. These events help us to promote our volunteer roles and opportunities and range from information to recruitment events, dog shows to carnivals and open days at Guide Dog centres to fundraising events.
The Big Help Out events 2024
The Big Help Out 2024, (7-9 June) is a nationwide campaign to showcase the benefits of volunteering and encourage people to give back to their communities.
Here at Guide Dogs, we will be hosting events all over the UK. We have all sorts of roles for volunteers, and they all help us to support people with sight loss to live the life they choose.
We would love to welcome new volunteers into our community so pop along to one of our Big Help Out events to find out about the volunteering opportunities we offer, meet existing volunteers, staff and, if you’re lucky, some of our dogs.
All of our Big Help Out events are taking place on or around the Big Help Out weekend in June, no need to sign up, just come along on the day and look for the Guide Dogs stand.
