On Tuesday 5 December, Guide Dogs took over Manchester Cathedral for a very special festive celebration.

The event featured guest appearances from comedian, actor, and television presenter, Martin Clunes; media personality, lexicographer, and etymologist, Susie Dent; sports commentator, broadcaster and author, Andrew Cotter; and award winning nutrition consultant, fitness instructor and speaker (not to mention star of our recent TV show, A Dog Called Laura), Jaina Mistry.

There were beautiful musical performances from twin sopranos, Classical Reflection; the unbelievable West End Musical Choir; the amazing Inner Vision Trio with Baluji Shrivastav OBE; and singer-songwriter, Jamie Lawson.

Attendees online and in-person were invited to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy inspiring stories and festive readings from our celebrity guests, sing along to favourite carols and listen to live music, all while helping raise vital funds to help children and adults living with sight loss live the lives they choose.

If you missed it, or if you attended and want to relive the experience, here are a few photos from the event:
