There is no one better to help us with the challenge of finding more volunteers than you – a local area expert with knowledge about your community that could help us find volunteers in areas where people with sight loss need our services the most.

How to promote?

Promoting our volunteering roles is simple.

Request a Volunteering Champion pack to receive a bundle of promotional materials such as our posters, leaflets and business cards.

You will also receive ‘A guide to attracting volunteers’ which will give you key information about each of our key roles, some top tips on how to use your promotional materials and how to help someone apply for a volunteering role at Guide Dog. 

What promotional materials could I receive? 

Your bespoke Volunteering Champion pack will be sent to you by your local Volunteering Coordinator within 2 weeks of your request, who will provide you with materials for roles that we are looking for in your area such as Fosterers, Puppy Raisers, My Sighted Guides or Fundraising Group Coordinators.
