Every day 250 people start to lose their sight in the UK. This is equivalent to one person every six minutes. When someone loses their sight, Guide Dogs is here to make sure they don’t lose their freedom as well.
Our life-changing guide dogs transform the lives of people with vision impairments: reducing loneliness, providing confidence and independence, and ultimately enabling people with sight loss to live the life they choose.
We're working hard to support as many people with sight loss as possible but as our guide dog service receives no government funding, we rely on donations to continue this vital work.
We therefore need funding from partners, like Omaze and their community, to continue to raise and train the life-changers of tomorrow.
Our partnership with Omaze will help fund the vital first two months of life for over 1,300 guide dog puppies. The draw to enter is now closed — but watch this space for an update on how much we’ve raised!
What is Omaze?
Omaze is a for-profit entertainment company, raising money for charity by offering people the chance to win life-changing prizes. Omaze guaranteed a minimum donation of £1 million to Guide Dogs to support our life-changing guide dog service.
