Welcome to the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of Forward!

Our front cover star is none other than David Bradley, star of stage and screen and supporter of our Omaze Million Pound House draw. You can find out more about the draw, which was open in April and May, in Star News on page 12.

In this edition we share details of our new strategy, which is called Forward, Together. We’ve moved away from having a five-year, fixed strategy to focusing more on a flexible and progressive approach – learn more on page 14.

We also highlight how technological innovations are complementing our services and playing a part in helping people with sight loss to live the life they choose on page 15. Then on page 16 we introduce our first new building since 2010, our South East Regional Centre, which was designed and constructed with accessibility and the environment in mind.

There’s a heart-warming letter from 90-year-old Audrey, whose “happy happening” is bound to make you smile on page 24. On page 25, you’ll read about a special supporter called Steven, whose love for his brother Stuart led to him leaving a gift to Guide Dogs in his Will.

We hope you enjoy this edition of your magazine.

We recommend that screen reader users open the accessible PDF version of Forward magazine in a dedicated PDF reader.
